Ragi Sweet Puttu


Just another variation to the regular Puttu.
Ingredients (makes about 1 serving):
1/2 cup of Ragi
2 - 3 Tbsp of Water
1/4 tsp of Salt (or as per taste),
3 Tbsp of grated Coconut,
a pinch of Cardamom powder
1 tsp of Sugar.

    No secrets Sherin... I use the dry coconut as is..no rehydrating etc.
    Just sprinkle the coconut and steam the puttu..What do you do differently?

  3. Do you grate the coconut yourself or use store bought grated powder? probably that makes the difference.. I use the dry ones from store..
