Mushroom Walnut Gravy





















Oil+mustards+Cumin+Curry Leaves+Garlics+Onion+Tomato+Walnut Paste (garlic,tamarind, red chilly)+mushroom+turmeric+red chilly pdr+water+salt+raw red chillies

Briyani Side Salan (Bell Pepper Salan)

2 tbsp of peanuts
2 tbsp of dry coconut
1/2 tbsp of white sesame seeds

dry roast above, grind with  2/3rd cup of water.

4 tsp of oil -> saute bell pepper

5 tsp of oil + 1 tsp mustard seeds + 1 tsp cumin seeds + 1 tsp fennel seeds + 1/2 tsp methi seeds
+ 15 curry leaves + 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste (add 1 green chilly while grinding) {about 1/3rd cup of garlic(1 whole garlic cluster) and equal amt of ginger + 1 green chilly }+ 1 cup fried onions+1 gooseberry size tamarind+
1 tsp coriander pwdr + 1 tsp cumin pwdr + 1/2 tsp of red chilly pwdr + 3/4 tsp of turmeric pwdr + 3/4 tsp of salt
+ ground paste -> med flame for 10mins till oil oozes out.
add 1.5 cups of water and bring to boil (10 mins)
add the sauted green pepper for 3 mins.

Ragi Dosa

Makes About 8 Small Thin Dosa.

A very easy and tasty preparation! My DH loves it. :-)
If you have left over Dosa Batter, just add Ragi flour to it and make this nutritious and tasty Ragi Dosa.
  • Mix 1/4 cup of Ragi Flour in little less than 1/2 cup of water into a thin batter
  • To this add about 6 laddles of Regular Dosa Batter
  • Add little salt (as per taste)
  • Optional: Add 1/2 tbsp of Flaxseeds (Fine ground flour)
  • Mix them all well and make thin crispy Ragi Dosa!
  • Serve it with any Curry, Podi or even Sugar.
